The Toledo Cherokee picked a two game sweep this past weekend in Erie PA as they defeated the Lake Erie Bighorns on Saturday by a score of 5-4 and 4-3 on Sunday.

Toledo opened up the two game set with a 5-4 victory on Saturday night.

"I thought we had a good start and let it get away from us a bit in the 3rd but we battled and found a way to win." Said head coach Kenny Miller.

On Sunday the Cherokee would skate away with a 4-3 win to wrap up the two-game set.
