Arcs goalie turns aside 106 in 10-0 loss
Brush goaltender Mike Kornet shattered the state record for most saves in a game with 106 in a 10-0 loss to Blue South leader Lakewood on Jan. 19 at Cleveland Heights.
The previous state standard also had an area tie. Chagrin Falls put 105 shots on goal and Brooklyn goalie Ish Qasem saved 97 of them in an 8-0 Tigers win at 2009 Baron Cup III.
