ROCKY RIVER, Ohio – The Pirates completed a four-game, holiday-weekend sweep with a 5-1 win over the Comets of Solon High School on Sunday. Senior captain Teddy Stueber tallied a pair of goals and two assists, and River found nylon on three powerplays as the team closed out its weekend of hosting the Tim Alexander Memorial Thanksgiving Tournament. With the victory, the Pirates closed out the four-games-in-three-days invitational at Hamilton Ice Arena with four wins on a margin of 21 goals to four.
