KENT — Winning their first Adam Hamilton Tournament title since 2016 was sweet.

For the Rough Riders to win it in a shootout against the team that beat them by three goals in Thursday’s tournament opener was even sweeter.

For the second straight weekend, Roosevelt hockey overcame losing a tournament opener to walk away with the trophy, this time by topping Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, 1-0, in a Sunday shootout.
