Cincinnati Cyclones have high expectations for 2023

'It's gonna be a lot of fun to watch.'

Last season, 36 wins was enough for the Cincinnati Cyclones to finish fourth in the ECHL-Central division and make the postseason. A back-and-forth first-round series with the Toledo Walleye went the distance, but the Walleye prevailed in seven games, ending the Cyclones' time in the Kelly Cup Playoffs. Toledo would make the Kelly Cup Finals, where it would fall to the Florida Everblades.

"It'll always linger," said Cyclones head coach and Director of Hockey Operations Jason Payne. "The minute the handshake line finished, my focus was on this year. It didn't matter that we hadn't left the ice yet. I started thinking about this year right away. We have some unfinished business to take care of."
