The Mentor Ice Breakers have signed forward Jamahl Eakett to a PTO contract, adding another highly skilled forward to a group that the club has improved significantly this offseason.

Eakett, 21, is the second-leading goal-scorer in the history of the WSHL with 147 goals to his name. His full offensive ability was on display this past season with the Hinton Timberwolves as he paced the league with 60 goals and 63 assists for 123 points in only 40 games, finishing nearly 20 points ahead of the next closest player.
