The University of Cincinnati hockey team is looking for a new head coach and they would like to fill the position quickly.
The Bearcats, a top-notch ACHA Division II program, have posted a 91-23 record (including 51-4 at home) and qualified for two national tournaments over the past four seasons with mostly home-grown talent. UC boasted 19 Ohio natives on the 2019-20 roster.
Team president George Zimmerer told Ohio Hockey Digest the Bearcats are moving quickly and would like to have their new bench boss identified by June 1.
Candidates must have a Level 2 USAH Coaching Certification at minimum.
