Moeller Leads CHC White Division

St. Xavier, Olentangy Orange on Crusaders’ heels

The White Division teams of the Capital Hockey Conference (CHC) were busy in the month of December. Cincinnati Moeller continues to lead the division with 11 points and a 5-1-0-1 record in the conference. The Crusaders went 3-1-0-1 in the month with a big win over St. Xavier at US Bank Arena. Outside of the league, the Crusaders went 2-1-1 in the HollyDaze tournament.

St. Xavier and Orange are currently tied in second place with eight points. St. Xavier has come on strong in December with four wins and only one loss – that coming at the hands of Moeller. The Bombers secured wins over Olentangy Orange, Dublin Coffman and Thomas Worthington.

Orange went 2-2-0 over the break, losing to a Red Division team – New Albany – and St. Xavier, but rebounding with solid wins against White Division opponents Olentangy Berlin and Springboro.

Springboro currently sits in fourth place with six points. The Panthers also went 2-2-0 over the holiday season within the conference with wins over Columbus Academy and Dublin Scioto.  One-goal losses to Moeller and Orange round out their recent games.

Coffman is currently in fifth with five points, just ahead of Berlin, Worthington, and the Olentangy Braves, which all with have four points.
