Amherst Skates Past Brecksville at Parma Christmas Hockey Tournament
Comets top Bees, 8-3
PARMA, OHIO – The Amherst Comets got off to a fast start in their first game of the Parma Christmas Hockey Tournament on Tuesday night, topping the Brecksville Bees 8-3 at Ries Rink in Parma.
The threesome of junior Jacob Fekete (two goals, five assists), sophomore Jacob Kramer (two goals, two assists) and freshman Nathan Harmych (hat trick) dominated for the Comets as they peppered Bee goalie Justin Bauman all night.

Avon Lake beats Brecksville-Broadview Heights, 10-2
Koncelik hits 20-goal plateau
The Brecksville Bees of the GCHSHL White Division traveled to Rocky River to take on the surging Shoremen of Avon Lake. Senior Connor Koncelik played through a bad cold in fine fashion and led his team to a 10-2 victory. Koncelik had a three goal “hat trick” (breaking the 20-goal barrier on the season) and also added an assist. He also scored two of the three short-handed goals on the night.
