ROCKY RIVER, Ohio — Junior winger Logan Fortune scored two third-period goals, as Rocky River earned a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Walsh Jesuit on Friday evening.

In a return to action after a weather-induced eight-day layoff, the Pirates clanked swords and exchanged cannon fire with a talented Warriors team that had beaten them earlier this season (5-3 in Kent, Ohio, on Dec. 27). Walsh (10 – 13 – 2) went into Friday’s tilt at Hamilton Ice Arena having lost 4-of-its-last-5 games, but that stretch saw the Warriors battle an elite out-of-state bunch and four top-10 (Ohio High School Ice Hockey Coaches Association) teams.
