LAKEWOOD – After putting in the go-ahead goal Saturday here inside Serpentini-Winterhurst Arena, St. Edward varsity hockey wanted anything but de`ja` vu, and luckily they didn’t have to relive two weeks ago on the way to a 4-3 win over University School.
Two weeks ago in Cleveland Heights, the Eagles had a one-goal lead late and allowed the Preppers to score with a sixth attacker, US going on to win in overtime.
The Preppers did put out the sixth attacker this time with 1:10 left, but this time the Eagles held on for Coach Troy Gray’s 200th career win as the Eagles’ head man.
