Sam Burns and Jamie Schuman scored two goals apiece and Cam Keller stopped 15 of 17 shots as Upper Arlington defeated Toledo St. John’s, 6-2, at the Padua Holiday Hockey Tournament Saturday morning.
With the win, the Golden Bears moved into a tie with St. Edward for the top spot in the tournament’s East Division. They will play their final preliminary round game Saturday evening against Toledo St. John’s at 7:00 p.m., hoping to garner enough points to qualify for Sunday’s championship game.
St. Francis falls to 0-2 at the event. They finish up preliminary round play against University School at 9:00 p.m.
