Trojans come back on US, but Preppers win in dramatic fashion

Keaton Ridder scored two third period goals to complete Findlay’s comeback from a 3-1 deficit, but Jack Muha scored for University School with 37 seconds left in the game to give the Preppers a 4-3 win in the third-place consolation game at the 2017 Padua Holiday Hockey Tournament.

The game-winner was Muha’s second goal of the game for US, which finishes the tournament 3-1-0.  Findlay finishes 2-2-0 and in fourth place.

University School Critter Coughlin stopped all 12 shots the Trojans sent his way through the first two periods, but Findlay fired 17 shots in Coughlin in the third period alone, scoring three times.

Ethan Franks scored the other goal for Finday and Storm Woodward made 30 saves for the Trojans.

Ethan Whetstone had a goal and two assists for the Preppers.
