The Youngstown Phantoms have acquired USHL veterans Primo Self and Kyle Bettens in separate moves.  Youngstown moved a conditional 2022 7th round selection in Phase 2 of the USHL entry draft to the Dubuque Fighting Saints to secure Self.  The Bettens deal, which consisted of a 2022 8th round Phase 1 selection and a 2022 4th round selection in Phase 2 of the draft going to the Cedar Rapids Roughriders, was completed on Sunday evening prior to solidifying the team’s 25-man roster.
