47 Ohio-born players dot division's rosters
The Ohio Hockey Digest coverage area is home to six franchises in the United States Premier Hockey League with five of them playing out of the Great Lakes Division in 2021-22: The Toledo Cherokee, Wooster Oilers, Columbus Mavericks, Lake Erie Bighorns and the expansion Cincinnati Jr. Cyclones.
A quick glance at the Opening Night rosters revealed 47 Ohio-born players populating the rosters of those five teams.
