Over the summer, Shaker Heights head coach Matt Bartley was contacted by Ken Reid, a Rogers Sportsnet anchor and sports card collector.  Reid was trying to solve the mystery of who’s picture was on Bryan Maxwell’s 1976-77 Cincinnati Stingers card – because it wasn’t Maxwell.

After speaking with the Hockey Hall of Fame and an old Cleveland Crusaders photographer he was directed to Matt to see if the player in the picture could be Bartley's father, legendary Shaker Heights coach Mike.
