New Outlook For Bobcats After Series Loss

OU drops pair at Liberty

LYNCHBURG, VA. – A two-game series turned into a rivalry at its own when the Ohio University Bobcats took the six-hour bus ride to Lynchburg to face the Liberty University Flames.

In their first match-up, the game took a turn for the worst in the third period with three ejections of Bobcat players.  Tyler Harkins, Drew Magyar, and Tommy Pokorney were thrown out after fights broke out in the third period. Andrew Wells also joined them after engaging in some hand-to-hand combat and earned himself a penalty. 

“Frustration and again, not being able to control our emotions and overcome adversity played into it,” head coach Cole Bell said.
