BROOKLYN, Ohio — St. Ignatius secured its 10th state final four appearance in program history with a dominating 6-0 win over No. 2 seed Holy Name Saturday afternoon in the Brooklyn District hockey final.
“We were shocked of the margin. We did not expect that coming in,” said St. Ignatius head coach Pat O’Rourke. “We got a couple early ones and it snowballed from there. We got our confidence going but if we play them 10 times that result would probably only happen once. They are a hell of a team.”
