7-2 win over BG ensures at least a share of NHC Red Crown

The St. Francis de Sales hockey juggernaut rolled to a fourth straight league title with a decisive 7-2 win over Bowling Green today.

The Knights captured at least a share of the Northwest Hockey Conference Red Division title. St. Francis (19-3-1 overall) improved to 6-0-0 in league play with the lopsided win this afternoon at Tam-O-Shanter.

St. Francis de Sales' goalie Jacob Coward, shown in a game last season, recorded 9 saves for the Knights in Sunday's 7-2 win over Bowling Green.

St. Francis, which is ranked No. 2 in the state poll, has two NHC games remaining against Findlay and rival St. John's Jesuit. Every other team in the Red Division has at least two losses.
