Sometimes hockey is not a pretty game, and that was more than apparent in the Southwestern Conference quarterfinal game between Olmsted Falls and Avon Lake, where the teams managed to sprinkle in nine goals among 16 penalties.

Ultimately, Olmsted Falls emerged victorious, 6-3, and advances to a Jan. 15 semifinal against Midview at 3:30 p.m.
