Senior goaltender Andrew Stewart continued his fine season for St. Edward, stopping 21 of 22 shots over the final two periods, as the Eagles came back from 1-0 and 2-1 deficits to beat Olentangy Liberty, 5-2, at the Padua Holiday Hockey Tournament.
Andrew Tomer’s power play goal in the final minute of the second period gave St. Edward their first lead of the game, 3-2, and they scored the only two goals of the third frame to put the game away.
Stewart finished the game with 28 saves in all. David Dew stopped 31 shots for Liberty.
